Mediajacked was brought to life in January 2017 by Jonathan "J Al" Allen. The vision originally started in J Al's Basement on the Eastside and grew to be bigger than expected so commercial space was utilized. The inspiration for creating Mediajacked was to provide a creative space for young guys and girls from the inner city to express their inner selves and to keep them off the streets, as well as keep the youth on productive timing.
